CENTER VALLEY, Pa. --- The Moravian College women's tennis team dropped a 6-3 Landmark Conference match to Susquehanna University Thursday in a match played at DeSales University.
The Greyhounds had the lead in all three doubles contests but were only able to earn a point at first doubles with a victory by junior Chelsea Ott and sophomore Katie Zien by the score of 9-8 (7-4). Moravian fell in the other two doubles contests by scores of 8-6.
In singles action, Ott picked up her 45th career singles win with a 6-0, 6-1 win at first singles. Sophomore Erica Venuti earned a victory at fifth singles with a 6-4, 6-3 win.
Moravian will return to action Monday, April 9 in Landmark Conference action at Juniata College beginning at 3:30 p.m.
