Women's Tennis Holds Off Scranton, 5-4

SCRANTON, Pa. --- The Moravian College women's tennis team kept its postseason hopes alive with a 5-4 Landmark Conference victory at The University of Scranton Thursday.

The Greyhounds, who have played in the conference championship match every season since 1994, evened their Landmark Conference mark at 2-2 for the year.

Moravian had a 2-1 lead after doubles action with victories from junior Chelsea Ott and Katie Zien at first doubles by an 8-1 score and sophomore Erica Venuti and freshman Carly Agrifolio at second doubles with an 8-6 score.

Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Monday, April 16 in a non-conference match at Ursinus College at 4:00 p.m.
