TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian University junior outside hitter Jenna Deegan has been honored as the Landmark Conference Women's Volleyball Athlete of the Week for her performance last week.

Deegan and the Greyhounds posted a 2-1 mark last week with all three non-conference contests going the full five sets. She had 51 kills, 35 digs, seven service aces, five assists and a block in the 15 games. Deegan contributed 21 kills, 15 digs and two service aces in a 3-2 loss to DeSales University. She then recorded 18 kills, 12 digs and four service aces in a 3-2 win at Cedar Crest College before completing the weekend with 12 kills, eight digs and four assists in a 3-2 victory versus Alvernia University.

"It's been fun coaching Jenna; she has a lot of raw power and great volleyball IQ, so we are trying some new things with her," stated Head Coach Shelley Bauder. "She's been very receptive to these changes and has shown vast improvements."

Moravian, which is 5-1 on the year, is scheduled to return to action on Wednesday, September 14 in a non-conference match at rival Muhlenberg College beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Memorial Hall in Allentown.
