Hanson Helps Trenton Generals to ACBL Playoffs

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Rising junior outfielder Matt Hanson of the Moravian College baseball team has continued his strong play from the spring into the Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League this summer with the Trenton Generals, helping the squad to the top seed in the ACBL playoffs that begin Friday, August 2nd in Ridgefield Park, N.J.

Hanson was a key player for the Greyhounds as the squad captured the 2013 Landmark Conference title back in May and played in the NCAA Division III Auburn N.Y. Regional before he headed to the wooden bat league for the summer. The Generals finished the ACBL regular season with a 27-13 and earned the top seed in the playoffs through a tiebreaker with the Allentown Railers.
