Hanson completed the week with a 6-for-8 performance in the sweep of Scranton that also included four runs, six RBIs, a double and his team-leading second homer of the year.

"Matt has been playing extremely well all year," stated Head Coach Paul Engelhardt. "It is an honor for not only him, but our whole team. It takes winning to be recognized on an individual basis. The team has a big part in any individual award, and Matt is one of the reasons we are winning as a team. Right now, he is probably the best player in our Conference, and we hope he can continue to lead us offensively."
