Nicco Dalpiaz Captures Pole Vault at Susquehanna Open

SELINSGROVE, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's indoor track & field team competed in itsfinal meet before the 2012 Landmark Conference Championships, participating in the non-scoring Susquehanna University Open Friday evening.

The Greyhounds had four ECAC qualifiers in the meet and one individual event winner with senior Nicco Dalpiaz capturing the pole vault at an ECAC qualifying height of 4.60 meters (15 feet, one inch), a height that puts him 29th on the Track & Field Results Reporting System (TFRRS) to qualify for the 2012 NCAA Division III National Championships.

In the mile run, junior Donald Noble placed second with an ECAC qualifying time of 4:20.70, the third fastest time in school history while freshman Dillon Farrell was fifth in 4:21.74, which is also a qualifying time and the sixth best time in school history.  Senior Matthew Lutcza was sixth in the race with an ECAC qualifying mark of 4:21.77, the seventh fastest time in Moravian's record book.
