Women’s Tennis Looks to Build on Perfect Fall

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Moravian College women's tennis team completed the fall portion of the 2013-14 season with a perfect 7-0 record and will look to continue the winning streak when the second half of the season kicks off with the Spring Break trip to Tampa, Florida.

The Greyhounds begin the spring by escaping the snow-covered tundra of Eastern Pennsylvania for a four-match stint in the Sunshine State. Head coach Dawn Ketterman-Benner's squad are in Florida on March 3-6, where they will face Tennessee Wesleyan College, Ohio Northern University, the College of St. Benedict and John Carroll University in dual matches on consecutive days.

Moravian returns home to begin Landmark Conference play on Saturday, March 15, when Goucher College comes to the Hoffman Courts at 1 p.m. for the first league dual match of 2013-14.

Having already found much success in their non-conference slate, the Greyhounds continue to sharpen up with matches outside of the Landmark Conference this spring. The women will take a trip to Ursinus College on March 18 and will host Alvernia University (March 25) and Arcadia University (April 15).

After the Goucher match, the Greyhounds will only be on the Hoffman Courts two more Saturdays for Landmark Conference matches. Moravian welcomes Drew University on March 22 and Susquehanna University comes to Bethlehem on April 12.

Moravian is on the road for crucial Landmark tilts with Juniata College (March 29), The Catholic University of America (April 5) and The University of Scranton (April 8).

If qualified, the Greyhounds will compete in the Landmark Conference semifinals on Tuesday, April 22.
