Follett Tabbed as Landmark Women's Tennis Player of the Week

TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian College senior Melissa Follett has been tabbed as the Landmark Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week for her play on the court last week.

Follett helped the Greyhounds win a pair of Landmark matches with road victories at Juniata College and The Catholic University of America to remain undefeated in conference play at 4-0, and the team boasts a 13-2 overall record this season.

Follett was 2-0 while playing first singles for the Hounds as she posted a pair of straight sets wins. In doubles action, Follett and fellow senior Erica Venuti had a 1-1 mark for the week at first doubles.

"Melissa is most deserving of this award for her play last week," stated Head Coach Dawn Ketterman-Benner. "Her singles and doubles wins kept us in two important matches and motivated her teammates to victory too."

The Greyhounds are scheduled to return to action on Tuesday, April 8 in another Landmark road match, this time at The University of Scranton with a 4:00 p.m. start.
