Women's Track & Field Competes at Tribe Invitational

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. --- The Moravian College women's track & field team competed at the non-scoring Tribe Invitational hosted by College of William and Mary Saturday.

Junior Allison Vanek had the Greyhounds top individual finish as she tied for fourth in the pole vault at 3.45 meters (11 feet, 3 3/4 inches). Sophomore Hailey Kester was seventh in the event at the same height but in more attempts.

Freshman Karlee Corvasce placed sixth in the javelin with a toss of 34.80 meters (114 feet, two inches while senior Micah Leonard tied for eighth in the high jump at 1.46 meters (four feet, 9 1/2 inches).

Freshman Corinne Glass placed eighth in the 400-meter dash in 1:00.13 while sophomore Morgan Redmond was eighth in the 100-meter dash in 16.26 seconds. Glass and Redmond combined with Vanek and sophomore Brielle Sutter to finish ninth in the 4x400-meter relay in a time of 4:08.37.

The Greyhounds are scheduled to return to action on Saturday, March 30th at the Lafayette College 7-Way Meet.
