BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Moravian College hosted a track & field clinic Tuesday afternoon for a team of 80 sixth grade students from Nitschmann Middle School in the Timothy Breidegam Fieldhouse.
Moravian student-athletes as well as the Greyhounds' track & field coaches had the sixth graders rotate between four stations where they were taught the proper mechanics in the high jump, javelin, long jump and shot put. After a short training session, each student was given the opportunity to try the event twice with their marks recorded.
Before walking back to Nitschmann, the sixth graders received a certificate and a chocolate gold medal from Moravian.
