Greyhounds Open Outdoor Season at Washington and Lee Carnival

LEXINGTON, Va. --- The Moravian College men's track & field team opened its 2013 outdoor season Friday evening with the distance runners competing in the first day of the Washington and Lee University Carnival.

Sophomore Dillon Farrell competed in the 1,500-meter run and had a time of 4:04.90 to finish eighth.

Senior Donald Noble ran a time of 15:04.37 in the 5,000-meter run, which is the seventh best time in school history in the event. Senior Jacob Donchez had a time of 15:37.12 in the event while sophomore Alec Duncan ran 16:15.68, freshman Jeremy Rigotti turned in a time of 17:00.02 and freshman Maxwell Korten ran a 17:14.90.

The rest of the Moravian team will open its outdoor season on Saturday, March 23rd at the Tribe Invitational hosted by the College of William & Mary.
