TOWSON, Md. --- Sophomore Dillon Farrell of the Moravian College men's track & field team has been honored as the Landmark Conference Men's Track Athlete of the Week for his performance last week.

Farrell ran in the 5,000-meter run at the non-scoring Larry Ellis Memorial Invitational hosted by Princeton University and had an ECAC qualifying time of 14:54.81, which is the third best time in school history. Farrell competed in the third of four heats of the 5,000-meter run at the meet with a heavy rain beginning shortly before the event, and he finished 12th in the heat and 50th of 102 runners in the four heats.

Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Saturday and Sunday, April 27th and 28th at the 2013 Landmark Conference Outdoor Championships being hosted by Goucher College. The Greyhounds are looking to win their sixth straight conference title.
