Noble Honored as Landmark Men's Track Athlete of the Week

TOWSON, Md. --- Senior distance runner Donald Noble of the Moravian College men's track & field team has been honored as the Landmark Conference Men's Track Athlete of the Week for his performance last week.

Noble helped Moravian capture its sixth straight Landmark Conference championship over the weekend at the 2013 meet hosted by Goucher College. He was named the Track Athlete of the Year at the meet after being the co-Track Athlete of the Year at the Indoor Championships back in February.

Noble won two events on the opening day of the meet Saturday. He captured the 1,500-meter run in an ECAC qualifying time of 3:59.19, the sixth fastest time in school history, and Noble also won the 10,000-meter run with an ECAC qualifying time of 32:09.15, the seventh best time in school history. On Sunday, Noble won the 5,000-meter run for his third championship of the weekend with an ECAC qualifying time of 15:08.71.

Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Monday, May 13th at the Swarthmore College Last Chance Meet beginning at 4:00 p.m.
