Duncan & Noble Lead Greyhounds at Duke Twilight

DURHAM, N.C. --- The Moravian College men's track & field team had six competitors at the non-scoring Duke University Twilight meet Sunday that had a combined five ECAC qualifying marks.

Senior Donald Noble was the runner-up in the 5,000-meter run with a career best and ECAC qualifying mark of 14:46.65, the second best time in school history while sophomore Alec Duncan was tenth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in a career best and ECAC qualifying mark of 9:37.45, the fifth fastest time in school history.

Senior Travis King was fourth in the triple jump with an ECAC qualifying mark of 13.62 meters (44 feet, 8 1/4 inches) while junior Kristopher Joint placed second in the long jump with an ECAC qualifying leap of 6.83 meters (22 feet, five inches). Junior David Cariello was third in long jump at 6.48 meters (21 feet, 3 1/4 inches) while freshman Albert Myers was fourth at 6.35 meters (20 feet, ten inches).

Cariello also finished sixth in the 110-meter high hurdles in an ECAC qualifying mark of 15.53 seconds while Myers was 11th in the 100-meter dash in 11.31 seconds.

Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Thursday, May 9th at the York College of Pennsylvania Twilight meet beginning at 4:00 p.m.
