Joint Honored as Landmark Men's Field Athlete of the Week

TOWSON, Md. --- Junior jumper Kristopher Joint of the Moravian College men's track & field team has been honored as the Landmark Conference Men's Field Athlete of the Week for his performance last week.

Joint won the long jump at Moravian's own non-scoring Coach P Open with an ECAC qualifying leap of 7.05 meters (23 feet, 1 ¾ inches), a distance that moves him to 11th on the Track & Field Results Reporting System list that will have the top 20 individuals and top 16 relay teams at the end of the season in each event heading to the NCAA Division III National Championships at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Joint is also 11th on the TFRRS list in the triple jump with a season best ECAC qualifying mark of 14.19 meters (46 feet, 6 ¾ inches) on April 6th.

Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Friday and Saturday, April 19th and 20th when the host the Greyhound Invitational at the Timothy Breidegam Track & Rocco Calvo Field.
