Javelin Throwers Compete at Sam Howell Invitational

PRINCETON, N.J. --- The Moravian College men's track & field team had three javelin throwers compete at the non-scoring Sam Howell Invitational hosted by Princeton University Saturday with junior Timothy Lorah placing third.

Lorah had an ECAC qualifying toss of 59.11 meters (193 feet, 11 inches) to finish third in the event that was won by former Greyhound student-athlete and current assistant coach Gary Zack, competing unattached with a throw of 67.98 meters (223 feet). Senior Tyler Potterton was 13th with a throw of 48.39 meters (158 feet, nine inches) while freshman Kyle Connors took 17th at 44.45 meters (145 feet, ten inches).

Moravian is schedueld to return to action on Friday and Saturday, April 12th and 13th when thge Greyhounds host the Coach P Open at Timothy Breidegam Track & Rocco Calvo Field.
