BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University men's basketball squad is scheduled to tip-off the 2022-23 season on Tuesday, November 8 with a non-conference contest versus rival Muhlenberg College at 7:00 p.m. in Johnston Hall.
The opener starts a six-game month of November for new Head Coach Darryl Keckler. The Greyhounds are slated to host Penn State Brandywine on November 12 before trips to New York University on November 19 and DeSales University on November 23. The Hounds will host Marywood University on November 27 before finishing the month on the road at Cabrini University on November 30.
The Blue and Grey begin December in the friendly confines of Johnston Hall with the 2022-23 Landmark Conference opener as The Catholic University of America comes to Bethlehem on December 3. The Hounds then head out on the road for three straight games with trips to Misericordia University on December 7, Keystone College on December 17 and Delaware Valley University on December 20. Between the holidays, Moravian will host the annual Steel Club Classic on December 30-31 with the Greyhounds playing Bryn Athyn College in the opening round and FDU-Florham and York College of Pennsylvania also in town for the tournament.
Once the calendar turns to 2023, Moravian has 13 Landmark Conference games on the schedule beginning with a trip to Elizabethtown College on January 7. The Greyhounds will host Drew University for a mid-week afternoon game on January 10, and the squad also welcomes Juniata College on January 13 before heading out to Goucher College on January 18 and Susquehanna University on January 21. The Hounds are set to host The University of Scranton on January 25, and the team finishes the month on the road at Catholic on January 28.
Moravian makes the short trip to Drew on February 1 to start the final month of the regular season. The Greyhounds return home to host Elizabethtown on February 4 and Goucher on February 8. The Blue and Grey make their final road trip of the year with stops at Juniata on February 11 and Scranton on February 15 before closing out the regular season in Johnston Hall versus Susquehanna on February 18.
The Greyhounds aim to qualify for the 2023 Landmark Conference Tournament that begins with the semifinals on Wednesday, February 22 and the final slated for Saturday, February 25 at the highest remaining seeds' home court.
