TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian University freshman forward Marquis Ratcliff has been named the Landmark Conference Men's Basketball Athlete of the Week for his performance last week.
Ratcliff posted his second career double-double in a 75-69 win at Keystone College Saturday in Moravian's only game of the week. Ratcliff had career highs of 23 points and 14 rebounds to go along with a pair of steals. He was 8-for-14 from the floor and 7-for-9 at the foul line while playing 32 minutes.
"Marquis had a great game rebounding on the glass and producing on the offensive end of the floor," noted Head Coach Darryl Keckler. "We are proud of the progress he has made early in his career. We are excited to see him continue to improve moving forward."
Moravian, which is 2-7 overall and 0-1 in Landmark Conference action, is scheduled to return to the court on Tuesday, December 20 in a non-conference contest at Delaware Valley University tipping off at 3:00 p.m.
