NEW ORLEANS, La. --- The Moravian University men's track & field squad has had five student-athletes named as 2025 United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Region.
For a student-athlete to earn All-Region honors, an athlete must be ranked in the top-5 of an individual event in the region according to the final Track & Field Results Reporting System data or be part of a top-3 relay team. The program must also be a member of the USTFCCCA. Moravian is part of the Metro Region.
The Greyhound men had five individual honorees with graduate student Cole Stanchina in the 10,000-meter run, junior Bryan Kerchner in the 1,500-meter run, junior Jerome Luckey in the high jump, sophomore Gavin Hefferan in the 3,000-meter steeplechase and sophomore Anthony Morillo in the discus.
Stanchina had the second fastest time in the region in the 10,000-meter run with a Moravian and Landmark Conference record time of 30:29.69 at the Bucknell University Bison Outdoor Classic on April 12. Luckey was fourth in the region at a height of 2.05 meters (6-8.75) at the Moravian Coach Pollard Invitational on April 18 while Hefferan was fourth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at 9:25.78 at the Bucknell Outdoor Classic. Kerchner had the fifth-best regional time in the 1,500-meter run with a 3:53.97 at the Sam Howell Memorial Invitational at Princeton University on April 4. Morillo was fifth in the region in the discus with a school record toss of 47.81 meters (156-10) at the John and Carol Covart Classic at Lehigh University on April 26.
