Hounds Ready for Landmark Conference Quarterfinal Match vs. Elizabethtown College on April 24

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College women's lacrosse team earned the third seed and hosts sixth seed Elizabethtown College in a Landmark Conference Quarterfinal match on John Makuvek Field Saturday, April 24 at 7:00 p.m. to begin the 2021 postseason.

Sixth-year Head Coach Kristen Nicholson has the Greyhounds in the postseason for the fourth time overall and the third time in the Landmark Conference Tournament. The Hounds participated in the Landmark Semifinals in both 2018 and 2019 after a trip to the ECAC Division III Tournament First Round in 2017.

Senior midfielder Meaghan McMullan, this week's Landmark Conference Offensive Athlete of the Week, leads the Hounds in scoring with 42 goals and 14 assists to go with 19 ground balls, 32 draw controls and 17 caused turnovers. Junior midfielder Lindsey Strohl has added 29 goals and an assist to go with 53 draw controls and nine ground balls while sophomore attack Devin King has nine goals, eight assists, eight ground balls and four draw controls. Sophomore attack Megan Donnelly has scored nine goals and one assist with 13 ground balls and five draw controls while junior attack Eliza Fantazzi has eight goals, three assists and 11 ground balls.

Senior attack Danielle Sullivan has contributed seven goals, eight assists and five ground balls while freshman attack Lexi Robinson has six goals and six ground balls. Sophomore midfielder Emily Hoskin has also netted six goals with two assists, 11 ground balls and four draw controls while senior defender Olivia Clearie has five goals, an assist, 34 draw controls, 10 ground balls and seven caused turnovers. Senior attack Breanna Federico has two goals and three assists and sophomore attack Kendall Lomascola has scored one goal for Moravian.

Junior defender Samantha Cherenson has contributed 24 draw controls to go along with 15 ground balls and nine caused turnovers while freshman defender Keara Reilly has 12 ground balls and five caused turnovers. Junior midfielder/defender Jamie Bader has added 12 ground balls and four caused turnovers while junior defender Meghan Moore has scooped up 11 ground balls to go with five caused turnovers. Senior defender Maecy Chlebowski has added four ground balls and three caused turnovers while freshman defender Alise Downey and junior defender Eirean Perst each have three ground balls.

Sophomore goalie Brelyn Friedman has 62 saves, 15 ground balls, two caused turnovers and a 5-4 mark in 409 minutes of action while sophomore goalie Rylee Soltis has 19 saves and three ground balls in 90 minutes and senior goalie Courtney Heist has five saves in 41 minutes of action.

The winner of Saturday's quarterfinal match will advance to the semifinal round of the tournament, which will be played on Wednesday, April 28.
