NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. --- Moravian College senior midfielder Meaghan McMullan has been named to the 2021 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaching Association's All-Metro Region Second Team.

McMullan helped the Greyhounds to a 6-5 record this season and the program's third trip to the Landmark Conference Tournament where the Hounds defeated Elizabethtown College, 15-12, for the first postseason victory in program history.

McMullan, who garnered Landmark All-Conference First Team honors this spring, the third time in her career after being on the Second Team in 2018 and 2019, paced the Greyhounds in 2021 with 47 goals and 15 assists for 62 points, and she contributed 48 draw controls as well as team highs of 22 ground balls and 20 caused turnovers. In her career, McMullan recorded 183 goals, 60 assists, 243 points, 96 ground balls, 201 draw controls and 71 caused turnovers in 49 career matches. She completed her career second in program history in assists and draw controls and third all-time in goals and points.

"Meaghan has had a tremendous career as a Greyhound and this accolade is well deserved," stated Head Coach Kristen Nicholson. "She has been a standout since her freshman year, and I'm thrilled to see her getting this recognition. Meaghan has had tremendous growth as an athlete in spite of the effects covid has had on the last two seasons. She left her mark on Moravian's record books and set a standard for the players to come. I'm grateful to have had the opportunity to coach her for the past four years."
