TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian College junior midfielder Lindsey Strohl and junior defender Meghan Moore have been honored as the Landmark Conference Women's Lacrosse Offensive and Defensive Athletes of the Week for their play in the final regular season contest last week.

Strohl led the Greyhounds with six goals and eight draw controls in an 18-4 victory over Juniata College to end the 2021 regular season last Tuesday.

"Lindsey had a stellar performance last week and is proving herself as a leader on the offensive end," commented Head Coach Kristen Nicholson.

Moore helped the Hounds limit Juniata to four goals, and she had three caused turnovers and four ground balls during the win.

"Meghan has been an anchor for our defensive unit all season and this recognition is well deserved," Nicholson said.

The third seeded Greyhounds, who are 6-4 overall after defeating sixth seed Elizabethtown College, 15-12, in the Landmark Conference Quarterfinals last Saturday evening, are slated to return to action on Wednesday, April 28 in a Landmark Conference Semifinal contest at second seed The University of Scranton beginning at 4:00 p.m.
