Men's Tennis Opens Fall with 5-0 Win over Delaware Valley

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's tennis squad opened its 2015-16 season with a 5-0 victory over Delaware Valley University at Hoffman Courts Saturday in a match shortened by rain.

The Greyhounds earned wins at the top two doubles spots along with three victories as Delaware Valley only had four players to post the 5-0 win. Seniors Matt Tuorto and John Wylie earned an 8-2 win at first doubles while junior Giovanni Lombardi and senior C.J. Widdifield posted an 8-1 win at second doubles.

Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Saturday, September 19 when the Greyhounds host Arcadia University at 12:00 p.m. at Hoffman Courts.
