TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian College senior C.J. Widdifield has been selected as the first Landmark Conference Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week for the 2015-16 season for his performance last week.
Widdifield helped the Greyhounds open the fall portion of their schedule with a 5-0, rain-shortened win over Delaware Valley University last Saturday. Widdifield partnered with junior Giovanni Lombardi for an 8-1 win at second doubles. It was Widdifield's first double match in nearly a year after playing exclusively singles last spring. He will be in the doubles line-up for the Greyhounds again this fall and expected to be a key contributed in his final season.
The Hounds are slated to return to action on Saturday, September 19 in a non-conference match versus Arcadia University beginning at 12:00 p.m. at Hoffman Courts.
