Greyhounds Fall to Roger Williams for First Loss of 2015-16 Season

ORLANDO, Fla. --- The Moravian College men's tennis team dropped its first match of the season as the Greyhounds fell to Roger Williams (R.I.) University, 7-2, at the Lake Cane Tennis Center to begin the team's trip for Florida for Spring Break.

The Hounds, now 3-1 on the season, trailed 2-1 after doubles action with the duo of seniors Matt Tuorto and John Wylie picking up an 8-4 win at first doubles. The victory was the 44th for the duo, moving them one win away from tying the school record for career doubles victories.

Moravian would get a singles win from freshman Peter Demyan, who captured his sixth singles match, 6-2, 6-3. Tuorto went to three sets at first singles before falling in his match.

The Greyhounds are scheduled to return to action Monday, March 7 when the squad takes on Regis (Mass.) College at the Lake Cane Tennis Center in a non-conference match beginning at 9:00 a.m.
