Men's Tennis Remains Unbeaten With Win Over Arcadia

Bethlehem, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's tennis team won its second match of the season on Saturday afternoon in a 7-2 victory versus Arcadia University at Hoffman Courts.

The Hounds swept the doubles competition winning all three matches. Finishing first for Moravian was the second doubles team of junior Mike Antonis and sophomore David Wilson, who won 8-1. Next off the court was third doubles team tandem of junior Giovanni Lombardi and senior C.J. Widdifield, who defeated their opponents 8-3. Last to finish up on the doubles side was senior Matt Tuorto and senior John Wylie with an 8-4 triumph at first doubles.

In singles action, first to finish was Antonis, who won his third singles match in straight sets 6-0, 6-0. Finishing next for the Greyhounds and clinching the victory for the team was Wylie, who won 6-3, 6-0 at second singles. Also winning for the Hounds was Tuorto 6-4, 6-3 at first singles and Widdifield 6-2, 6-1 at fifth singles.

The next match for Moravian is Muhlenberg College Tournament on Sunday, September 20.
