Men's Tennis Falls to Scranton in Landmark Conference Action

SCRANTON, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's tennis team dropped a 6-3 decision at The University of Scranton in Landmark Conference action Sunday afternoon.

The Greyhounds, who had won three straight Landmark Conference matches, earned a point at first doubles where seniors Matt Tuorto and John Wylie earned a 9-7 victory, extending their school record to 52 career wins.

The duo also earned straight sets triumphs in singles action to pick up Moravian's other two points. Tuorto won his fourth consecutive match with a 6-2, 6-2 win at first singles while Wylie won for the fifth straight time with a 6-4, 6-2 victory at second singles.

Moravian, now 10-5 overall and 3-3 in Landmark Conference action, is slated to return to the courts on Thursday, April 21 in a non-conference match at rival Muhlenberg College beginning at 4:30 p.m. in Allentown.
