Tuorto & Wylie Break School Record for Doubles Victories in Loss to Clark

CASSELBERRY, Fla. --- Moravian College seniors Matt Tuorto and John Wylie combined for their school record 46th career doubles victory but it wasn't enough as the Greyhounds fell to Clark (Mass.) University, 6-3, in non-conference action in Florida Tuesday afternoon.

Tuorto and Wylie, who are now 46-29 in doubles action in their career, passed Lewis Cooper's career win total of 45 set last season. The duo earned an 8-5 win at first doubles Tuesday but it was Clark that led 2-1 after the doubles competition ended.

Tuorto also picked up a win at first singles in the match with a 7-6 (7-3), 6-3 victory while freshman Peter Demyan had the Greyhounds other point with a 6-2, 6-3 triumph at sixth singles.

Moravian will close out its Spring Break trip to Orlando with a non-conference match versus Messiah College at the Lake Cane Tennis Center beginning at 8:00 a.m.
