Duncan Takes Fifth in Javelin as Hounds Compete at Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. --- The Moravian College women's track & field team competed in the prestigious Penn Relays at historic Franklin Field Friday.

The Greyhounds began their day in the Shuttle Hurdle Championship of America with the quartet of sophomore Amari Schooler, junior Melissa Cheong, senior Rebecca Flitcroft and sophomore Anna Osman placing 12th in a time of 1:07.66.

Junior Mary Kate Duncan finished fifth in the college women's javelin with a toss of 43.67 meters (143-3).

The Greyhounds are scheduled to compete at the Lehigh University Games on Saturday, April 29 in the squad's final meet before hosting the 2017 Landmark Conference Championships.
