BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College baseball squad is slated to begin its 2021 campaign on Saturday, March 20 when the Hounds travel to Juniata College for a Landmark Conference doubleheader beginning at 12:30 p.m. in Huntingdon.

The Hounds have four non-conference games scheduled with Keystone College throughout the season and a total of 12 conference doubleheaders as the Landmark Conference scheduled home-and-home twinbills each weekend to help the teams play as many games as possible due to the pandemic.

For baseball, the Saturday doubleheaders will be two seven-inning games while the Sunday doubleheaders will feature a nine-inning and a seven-inning game. All action will begin at 12:30 p.m. on the weekends. Moravian will be video streaming all home games at https://landmarknetwork.tv/moravian/ and most of the road conference games will be available at https://landmarknetwork.tv.

Head Coach Paul Engelhardt enters his 15th season with 28 returning players, and Coach Engelhardt has a career mark of 298-242-1. The Greyhounds have a pair of returning All-Conference players from 2019, the last time the conference selected postseason awards. Graduate student outfielder Ian Csencsits was named to All-Conference First Team as a second baseman back in 2019 while and senior shortstop Michael Miceli earned a spot on the All-Conference Second Team. Csencsits was also a First Team honoree during the 2018 season.

As a reminder, in accordance with Landmark Conference policy, no fans will be allowed at any Landmark Conference school for sporting events until further notice. The Landmark Conference and Moravian College will continue to monitor the situation and communicate any changes to the spectator policy on our website and through social media.
