TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian University freshman forward Sydney Anderson has been selected the Landmark Conference Field Hockey Offensive Athlete of the Week for a second consecutive week after her performance last week.

Anderson led Moravian with four goals in a 2-0 week for the Greyhounds as the squad extended its winning streak to five games and tied the best start in school history at 9-2, matching the 1992 squad. Anderson had one goal in Moravian's 4-0 non-conference win over Delaware Valley University. She then had her first career hat trick with all three goals in the Greyhounds, 3-2 overtime win over No. 20 Susquehanna University in Landmark Conference action, Moravian's first-ever victory over a nationally-ranked program.

"Sydney has been steadily progressing throughout the fall," commented Head Coach Sarah Dalrymple. "She has a strong field awareness which continually puts her in the right position to finish on attack."

The Greyhounds are scheduled to return to action on Wednesday, October 13 when the squad hosts Elizabethtown College in a Landmark Conference match beginning at 7:00 p.m. on John Makuvek Field.
