Greyhounds Win Second Straight Landmark Conference Contest with Victory over Juniata

ALTOONA, Pa. --- The Moravian University men's tennis team won its second straight Landmark Conference contest with a 7-2 victory versus host Juniata College at the Summit Athletic Club in Altoona due to the weather.

How It Happened

  • The Greyhounds had a 2-1 lead after doubles action. The Eagles garnered the opening point with a victory at first doubles while sophomores Ronny Pimentel Ferrer and Wyatt Marshall posted an 8-2 win at second doubles to tie the contest. The Hounds moved ahead 2-1 when senior Kieran Pisani and freshman Matthew Labosky recorded an 8-1 triumph at third doubles
  • Juniata picked up its other point with a three-set win at first singles before sophomore Anthony Ronca put Moravian ahead for good with a 6-1, 6-0 victory at second singles. Marshall made it 4-2 with a 6-1, 6-2 triumph at third singles while sophomore Zachary Lebby earned the winning team point with a 6-3, 6-0 victory at fourth singles. Pimentel Ferrer won 8-4 at fifth singles while Pisani had an 8-5 triumph at sixth singles to close out the contest
