TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian College sophomore Kyle Allison has been named this week's Landmark Conference Men's Field Athlete of the Week for his performance last Saturday.

Allison was the runner-up in the javelin at the Muhlenberg College Invitational with an ECAC qualifying mark of 56.00 meters (183-9) in his second meet of the spring.

"Kyle had a pretty good day," commented Head Coach Jesse Baumann. "The weather conditions weren't ideal for big marks with it being wet and pretty cool outside, but he still had a good throw. We were discussing with Kyle and the rest of the javelin throwers that you won't always set a huge PR at every meet, but if you can stay competitive even in some of these early spring meets, it'll really pay dividends when the weather is more conducive to better performances later on in the season."

The Greyhounds are scheduled to host the Coach P Invitational on Friday and Saturday, April 8-9 at Timothy Breidegam Track and Rocco Calvo Field. Action will begin at 3:30 p.m. on Friday and at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
