TOWSON, Md. --- Sophomore Melissa Follett (Bethlehem, Pa./Notre Dame HS) of the Moravian College women's tennis team has been named the Landmark Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week for her performance last week.

Follett helped the Greyhounds remain undefeated on the year with a 9-0 sweep of NCAA Division II Virginia Union University Sunday as Moravian opened the spring portion of its schedule. Follett had a 7-6 (7-5), 6-2 win at first singles for the Greyhounds, and she teamed with junior Erica Venuti for an 8-4 triumph at first doubles.

Moravian, now 5-0 on the year, is scheduled to return to action on Monday, March 4th in a non-conference match versus Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Virginia beginning at 3:00 p.m.
