Women's Tennis Falls to Catholic, 6-3

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College women's tennis team dropped a 6-3 decision to The Catholic University of America in Landmark Conference action Saturday at Hoffman Courts.

The Cardinals opened the contest by sweeping the three doubles matches.

The Greyhounds, now 7-2 overall and 0-2 in Landmark Conference action, won the top three singles matches with three-set victories by sophomore Melissa Follett at first singles and junior Katie Zien at second singles, and a straight sets win from junior Erica Venuti at third singles. Catholic won the other three contests to clinch the match.

Moravian is not scheduled to return to action until Saturday, April 6th when the squad travels to Juniata College for a Landmark Conference match beginning at 1:00 p.m.
