TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian University senior Julianne Cassady has been honored as the Landmark Conference Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week for her performance last week.

Cassady helped Moravian to a 2-0 week as the Greyhounds improved to 4-0 on the fall. She was 2-0 at first singles and 2-0 at first doubles with freshman Izzy Szmodis during the two contests. Cassady picked up both wins versus rival Muhlenberg College in a 7-2 victory, and she also won both her matches in a 9-0 win over DeSales University in a contest that started on September 25 and was completed on September 30 due to rain.

"Jules had a fantastic week winning both of her singles and doubles matches," noted Director of Tennis Mariana Freitas. "She's getting better with each match, and I'm excited to see how well she will perform her senior year on and off the court."

Moravian, which is 4-0, is scheduled to close out the fall portion of the 2022-23 season on Saturday, October 8 when the Greyhounds host Rutgers-Camden in non-conference action beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Hoffman Courts.
