BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Seniors Maddie Figiel and Cristina Merone of the Moravian University women's squad have been named as this week's Moravian Student-Athletes of the Week Fueled by Honey Stinger for their performance last week.

Figiel and Merone won a pair of doubles matches during two Landmark Conference Tournament contests to help the Greyhounds to a 1-1 week and a runner-up finish in the tournament. The duo broke the school record with their 19th win of the season with an 8-5 triumph at second doubles in a semifinal match versus Goucher College, and Figiel and Merone became the first doubles tandem in program history to reach the 20-win plateau with an 8-6 victory at Drew in the championship contest. Figiel and Merone completed the season with a 20-2 doubles mark. Merone also finished her career second all-time with 48 doubles wins while Figiel was ninth with 41 career doubles victories.
