BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Moravian University has named Paul Schiffert as Head Equipment Manager beginning on August 1. He will supervise all aspects of athletic equipment operations for the 22 Greyhound athletic teams.

"I am excited to have Paul join the Greyhound staff at Moravian," commented Assistant Athletic Director and Senior Woman Administrator Rebecca May. "He will start at a critical time for the athletes, and he will ensure that everything behind the scenes goes smoothly."

Schiffert comes to Bethlehem after spending the last year and a half as an equipment intern at Lafayette College. He is a 2021 graduate of East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania, majoring in sports management with a minor in business management.

"I want to thank Moravian University, Rebecca May, Mary Beth Spirk and the entire Athletic Department for giving me this opportunity," stated Schiffert. "Coming over from Lafayette College, I gained a great deal of experience in equipment from Seth Holiday as well as the rest of the equipment staff around me. I'm excited to get started as the season is about to get underway, as well as learn more about Moravian inside and outside of athletics."
