Zamolyi Selected as Moravian Student-Athlete of the Week Fueled by Honey Stinger

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Graduate student forward Tessa Zamolyi from the Moravian University women's basketball squad has been honored as this week's Moravian Student-Athlete of the Week Fueled by Honey Stinger for her performance last week.

Zamoyli, who earned her second Honey Stinger Athlete of the Week honor, averaged 13.5 points and 11.5 rebounds per game in a pair of contests to help the Greyhounds to a 2-0 mark at the 19th Steel Club Classic where she was named to the All-Tournament Team. Zamolyi shot 10-for-17 from the floor and 7-for-9 at the foul line to go with four assists, four steals and two blocked shots while playing 39 of a possible 80 minutes in the two contests. She had 12 points and nine rebounds in just 19 minutes of action in the Hounds' 102-14 win over City College of New York on the opening day, and Zamolyi added her seventh double-double of the season with 15 points, 14 rebounds, three assists and three steals in Moravian's 71-50 victory versus the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.).

The Moravian Student-Athlete of the Week Fueled by Honey Stinger is selected on Mondays by Moravian's athletic department leadership team.
