BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University men's and women's indoor squads are set to begin the 2022-23 indoor season at the Lehigh University Fast Times Before Finals at Rauch Fieldhouse on Friday and Saturday, December 2-3.
Under the leadership of 12th-year Director of Cross Country and Track & Field Jesse Baumann, both Greyhounds' teams look to recapture the Landmark Conference titles in February.
The men have five returning student-athletes that earned Landmark All-Conference honors in 2022 led by senior thrower Dan Jenkins, who captured the 35-pound weight throw title a year ago. Junior Casey Frank and sophomores Jake Farrell and Geoffrey Kleinberg are back from the winning distance medley relay squad while graduate student thrower Timothy King was the runner-up in the shot put in 2022.
The women have four returning Landmark Conference Champions led by senior Crystal Robinson, who earned Landmark Conference Indoor Track Athlete of the Year honors after winning the 200-meter and 400-meter dashes. Senior Helen Davis looks to repeat in the 60-meter dash while senior Lexi Groff will try to defend her title in the high jump and senior Maddie Wickel looks to win the 20-pound weight throw. The Hounds also have three returning Landmark All-Conference Second Team honorees including senior Haylee Saylor and sophomores Zoey Bronson and Racquel Ramey, who combined with Davis for a second place finish in the 4x200-meter relay, and Davis was also the runner-up in the 200-meter dash.
