BRYN MAWR, Pa. --- The Moravian University women's tennis team fell to host Bryn Mawr College, 7-2, in non-conference action Sunday.

How It Happened

  • The Owls held a 2-1 lead after the doubles action with Bryn Mawr capturing points at first and second doubles. The Greyhounds earned a point at third doubles with the tandem of junior Mara Stapleton and sophomore Rose Lombardo winning 8-7 (8-6)
  • Bryn Mawr won the first four singles matches before Lombardo posted a straight sets victory at fifth singles for Moravian's other point. Junior Emily Masters forced a third set in her sixth singles match in the final contest to finish
