READING, Pa. --- The Moravian University men's indoor track & field team earned 13 top 10 finishes at the non-scoring Alvernia University PLEX Shootout Saturday. 

Top 10 Finishes

• Freshman Joe Tivade was tenth in the 60-meter hurdle preliminaries in a time of 10.00 seconds
• Freshman Trevor Gray finished second in the 60-meter dash in a time of 7.18 seconds while freshman Owen Sabastro was sixth in the finals in 7.37 seconds. Gray had the fastest qualifying time in the 60-meter dash at 7.23 seconds while Sabastro ran a PR time of 7.30 seconds in the prelims to head to the finals in sixth place. Both Gray and Sabastro won their preliminary heats
• Senior Shane Houghton finished as the runner-up in the mile with a PR time of 4:24.32 while senior Dominic DeRafelo was fifth in a PR time of 4:27.34. Freshman Owen Nahf was sixth in the race in 4:28.13 while graduate student Peter Gingrich took eighth in a PR time of 4:28.83
• Moravian's 4x200-meter relay squad of Gray, sophomores Marco Calantoni, Jared Santos and Matt Shea finished fifth in 1:36.82
• DeRafelo also posted a PR in the 800-meter run where he was the runner-up in a time of 2:00.42, and he was followed by Gingrich in sixth place at 2:03.53 and freshman Jake Farrell in ninth with a time of 2:04.42
• Sophomore Josh Mangini ran a PR of 9:04.73 in the 3,000-meter run to finish fifth while freshman Nathan Hajel was sixth with a PR of 9:06.26 

PR Distances/Times

• Santos posted a PR time of 7.33 seconds in the 60-meter dash while Shea ran a PR time of 7.63 seconds
• Junior Liam Duffy recorded a PR time of 4:33.44 in the mile run while sophomore Casey Frank added a PR time of 4:37.40
• Freshman Jason Gartner posted a PR time of 56.93 seconds in the 400-meter dash while Tivade had a PR of 57.53 seconds
• Freshman Wyatt Poniktera recorded a PR time of 2:13.89 in the 800-meter run while sophomore Paul Petre added a PR of 2:17.20
• Freshman Matt Pavone posted a PR distance of 12.55 meters (41-2.25) in the 35-pound weight throw while junior Adam Gildea had a PR toss of 11.20 meters (36-9)
• Junior Christian Jancsarics ran a PR time of 9:56.18 in the 3,000-meter race
