BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University men's outdoor track & field squad tied for 24 of 41 schools with 11 points at the two-day 2022 All-Atlantic Region Outdoor Track & Field Championships hosted by the Hounds at Timothy Breidegam Track.
Top 8 Scoring Results
- Graduate student Shane Mastro finished sixth in the shot put with a mark of 15.16 meters (49-9) to earn the Greyhounds' first three points of the meet
- Graduate student Peter Gingrich and senior Dominic DeRafelo teamed with senior Brad Clemson and sophomore Casey Frank to finish second in the 4x800-meter relay with a time of 7:52.86, the third best time in school history, to garner eight points in the final event of the meet
Moravian Finishers
- Junior Dan Jenkins tossed a school record mark of 50.71 meters (166-4) to finish 11th in the hammer throw
- The Greyhounds' 4x100-meter relay team of sophomores Marco Calantoni and Jared Santos and freshmen Trevor Gray and Owen Sabastro took ninth in a time of 42.53 seconds
- Gingrich posted a PR time of 1:55.44 in his final collegiate race to place 11th in the 800-meter run while DeRafelo took 21st in the race with a PR of 1:56.46 in his last collegiate competition
- Senior Tim King finished 16th in the shot put with a mark of 13.67 meters (44-10.25)
