BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University women's soccer team dropped its first match of the 2024 season, falling to No. 5 Misericordia University, 2-1, under the lights of John Makuvek Field Saturday evening

How It Happened

  • The Cougars took a 1-0 lead with just 23 seconds remaining in the first half
  • Misericordia made it 2-0 in the 57th minute
  • The Greyhounds got on the scoreboard in the 65th minute when senior forward Carly Pyatt drilled a shot into the left side of the net 

Inside the Numbers

  • Pyatt's goal was her third marker of the season and the tenth goal of her career
  • Graduate student goalie Riley Spingler registered ten saves in the contest
