HUNTINGDON, Pa. --- The Moravian University women's soccer team scored in the 81st minute to earn a 1-0 victory at Juniata College Saturday afternoon as the Greyhounds clinched a berth in the 2024 Landmark Conference Tournament.
How It Happened
- The squads played a scoreless first half with the Hounds holding a 5-0 advantage in shots and a 1-0 edge in corner kicks
- Moravian broke onto the scoreboard in the 81st minute when senior midfielder Sydney DeFranco put a pass from junior forward Elliot Rupp
- The victory clinches a spot in the Landmark Conference Tournament First Round on Tuesday, November 5 versus an opponent to be determined after next weekend's final weekend of the regular season
