Greyhounds Fall Late to No. 14 Scranton in Regular Season Finale

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University women's soccer squad fell to No. 14 The University of Scranton, 1-0, on a late goal Saturday afternoon in Landmark Conference action to end the regular season Saturday on John Makuvek Field. 

How It Happened

  • The squads played a scoreless first half with the Royals holding an 11-1 advantage in shots and a 4-2 edge in corner kicks after 45 minutes of action
  • Scranton netted the only goal of the contest with 1:37 left to play

  • Graduate student keeper Riley Spingler recorded five saves in the contest
  • The Hounds will be the sixth seed in the 2024 Landmark Conference Tournament after the loss
