LANCASTER, Pa. --- The Moravian University women's indoor track & field team posted a pair of event wins at the Mini Dip Invitational hosted by Franklin & Marshall College Saturday.
Moravian Event Winners
- Sophomore Ali Haefele won the triple jump with an indoor personal best of 10.60 meters (34-9.5)
- Junior Abby Giamoni captured the 300-meter dash in a time of 42.30 seconds, the second fastest time in school history
Moravian Top 10 Finishers
- Sophomore Tara Smurla was the runner-up in the mile run with a time of 5:21.28 while junior Rachael Goodman placed seventh in 5:38.31. Freshman Alexis Hockenberry took eighth at 5:38.77 while sophomore Meghan Myers finished tenth in a time of 5:41.89
- Haefele was also third in the high jump with a PR height of 1.52 meters (4-11.75). Senior Lexi Groff and graduate student Jocelynn Itterly tied for fourth at the same height as Haefele
- The Greyhounds 4x200-meter relay squad of Giamoni, junior Racquel Ramey, sophomore Shai Knight and freshman Rachele Grigoli finished fourth in a time of 1:52.55
- Junior Caillie Fish was seventh in the 20-pound weight throw with a toss of 13.61 meters (44-8) while sophomore Margie Rayne finished ninth at 13.42 meters (44-0.5) and junior Liz Miskovsky took tenth at 13.24 meters (43-5.25)
- Moravian's 4x400-meter relay of juniors Rylie Murphy, Amber Poniktera and Lexi Rushatz and sophomore Elena Bocchetti finished eighth in a time of 4:33.48
- Senior Bella DeMassa was ninth in the preliminaries of the 60-meter hurdles at 10.40 seconds
