LEWISBURG, Pa. --- The Moravian University women's outdoor track & field team recorded three All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference qualifying marks as well as breaking one school and Landmark Conference record at the Bucknell University Bison Outdoor Classic Saturday.
Moravian AARTFC Qualifiers
- Sophomore Tara Smurla smashed both the Moravian and Landmark Conference record in the 10,000-meter run with an AARTFC qualifying time of 36:08.51 in the Invitational race late Saturday night to finish in 17th place. Smurla took just over 11 seconds off the Greyhounds' mark set in 2002 and over 30 seconds off the Landmark Conference record set in 2011
- Junior Amber Poniktera recorded an AARTFC qualifying time of 11:40.44 in the 3,000-meter steeplechase while junior Rachael Goodman ran an AARTFC qualifying time of 11:46.77 in the race
