Groff Honored as Moravian Student-Athlete of the Week Fueled by Honey Stinger

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Senior Lexi Groff from the Moravian University women's outdoor track & field team has been honored the Moravian Student-Athlete of the Week Fueled by Honey Stinger for her performance last week.

Groff competed in the high jump twice last week. She took second at the Widener Final Qualifier while setting the school and Landmark Conference record at a height of 1.68 meters (5-6) on Monday. Three days later, Groff won the All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference Outdoor Championship in the high jump while clearing 1.66 meters (5-5.75). She also ran a leg on the Hounds' 4x100-meter relay squad at the AARTFC meet as the quartet placed 16th in 49.68 seconds.

Groff is set to finish her career at the 2024 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field National Championships in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina on Friday, May 24 at 1:30 p.m.

The Moravian Student-Athlete of the Week Fueled by Honey Stinger is selected on Mondays by Moravian's athletic department leadership team.
