ROCHESTER, N.Y. --- The Moravian University women's indoor track & field team finished 23rd with 9.64 points at the 2024 All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Indoor Championships at Nazareth (N.Y.) College that concluded Saturday.
Moravian Competitors
- Senior Lexi Groff tied for fourth in the high jump, clearing 1.57 meters (5-1.75) to score 4.5 points while sophomore Ali Haefele was part of a tie for eighth at 1.52 meters (4-11.75) to earn 0.14 points. Graduate student Jocelynn Itterly also cleared the bar at the same height as Haefele but in more attempts to finish tied for 19th
- Sophomore Tara Smurla finished seventh in the 3,000-meter run in an indoor personal best time of 10:23.20 to score Moravian's final two points of the meet. Smurla's time is the tenth fastest in program history
- Junior Abby Giamoni placed 11th in the 200-meter dash in 26.51 seconds, and she took 14th in the 400-meter dash in a time of 59.87 seconds
- Giamoni was also part of the Hounds' 4x200-meter relay with sophomores Elena Bocchetti and Shai Knight and freshman Rachele Grigoli that finished 18th in a time of 1:50.47
